Data Updatehey processes
When you submit a report or analysis request, Updatehey stores the information you voluntarily provide. To limit abuse, the service also creates a one-way client hash from network and browser signals plus a server-side salt; the raw value is not intended to be displayed publicly.
Why the data is used
Submitted data is used to aggregate installation outcomes, prioritize requested analyses, prevent repeated abuse and operate the service. Public pages display aggregated results rather than the anti-abuse identifier.
Third-party sources
Updatehey links to vendor documents and public community posts as evidence. Opening an external source is governed by that site's own privacy policy.
Advertising and cookies
If advertising is enabled in the future, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve or measure ads. This policy will be updated before advertising cookies are activated, and consent controls will be provided where required by law.
